When Olive and Otto get zapped into a comic book, Olive must use her knowledge of the comic book to escape. As Olive and Otto search all of Shmumerland for the right pieces to make a gadget that will get them out, they need to use subtraction and addition to move from page-to-page. Can they solve the case and be heroes in their favourite comic? The Odd Squad show aims at problem solving and thinking and includes building procedural fluency as well as building conceptual understanding. The show uses creativity and imagination to foster inquiry and math-talk.
