Tiling is all around you - brick walls, quilts, fields and more; multiple shapes are laid out with no gaps or overlaps. But not every shape can be tiled. In this experiment, our math whiz attempts to tile with triangles, squares, quadrilaterals, rectangles, parallelogram, chevrons, irregular quadrilateral, trapezoids, and pentagons. Your challenge is to make a tiling pattern at home on a cake or a notebook.
