Howard Carter discovered the burial tomb of King Tutankhamun in the valley of the kings. This was the first tomb found where nothing on the inside had been touched before. Tutankhamun's body was found buried in three separate coffins. The third coffin held his mummified body. Many things were found along side him in his tomb.
