The dinosaur tracks in Grande Cache, Alberta are very dramatic, and many travellers come to experience these prints first hand. The first tracks were uncovered in the late 1980's as coal was being mined, and Tyrrell Museum experts evaluated the discovery. There is a diversity of track types and they hope to develop interpretive sites that will bring more tourists to contribute to the economy of the area as mines and forestry industries decline here. Guided hikes through the Pipestone Creek Bonebed may include watching researchers at work in this location where a mysterious, mass death of horned dinosaurs occurred.
