This short, documentary style film features the voices of residential school survivors, and Murray Sinclair speaking about Indigenous future in Canada.  A variety of Indigenous children and youth express their varied perspectives on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's top Calls to Action (child welfare, access to services and education). Children and youth are ideal ambassadors for reconciliation since they celebrate difference and try to right injustices. Filmmaker Bio: A member of the Gitxsan First Nation, Cindy Blackstock is honoured to serve as the Executive Director of the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society and a professor at McGill University's School of Social Work. She has over 30 years of experience working in child welfare and Indigenous children's rights and has published more than 75 articles on topics relating to reconciliation, Indigenous theory, First Nations child welfare and human rights.
