She learns about the Franklin expedition, Nunavut communities like Pond Inlet as well as Qikiqtarjuaq and travels to three remote national parks: Sirmilik, Auyuilt and Qausuittuq National Parks. Interpretation officer and Inuit Guide Billy Etooangat describes the relationship of the Inuit people with Parks Canada to help protect the Inuit culture, especially their hunting lifestyle, as well for the safeguarding of wildlife like the caribou, polar bears and muskox.
