Deep in the mountain valley before a devastating storm breaks, the group reflects on the profound changes the journey has brought them. The crew is united by another teaching that ties into the last one when they learn to make drums. Merchants of the Wild, Season 3, follows six Indigenous adventurers as they journey along ancient paths that were traditionally used by Indigenous traders deep in the mountains of Syilx territory in BC. They spend 25 days in the wilderness learning to reconnect with their culture, with only a handful of necessary tools and a limited food supply. During the expedition they must rely solely on the land, each other, and traditional teachings to survive.
