A group of Cree Nation teenagers, part of a special James Bay Eeyou High School program, learn traditional crafts and environmental practices, developing their sense of belonging to their culture and community in Northern Quebec. The elders are important in keeping traditions and language alive. While they teach teens the skill of making snowshoes, they also talk about their life experiences and philosophies. Cree narration with English subtitles.
