This video and student manual bring to life a 5-step action plan known as ALGEE developed by The National Council of Behavioral Health. ALGEE stands for Assess the risk, Listen non-judgmentally, Give reassurance and information, Encourage getting professional help, and Encourage self-help and support strategies. Viewers will learn the warning signs of depression, suicide, and substance abuse, and violent behavior.
