Whether it's in the ocean, on land or in the air, there are animals on earth that are born to kill. Specialized hunters with impressive weapons and unique attack strategies. Their lives are shaped by feast and famine, while the quest to secure their next meal never ends. Every predator has a plight. They must kill to survive. The harsh reality of life as a hunter is never knowing where your next meal is coming from. In the world of predators vs prey, life isn't just a battle, it's an evolutionary arms race. From cheetahs who have developed incredible speed to catch the fast and agile antelope of the African savanna to the fur seals of the Atlantic Ocean, who must learn to outsmart great white sharks in order to escape their jaws; survival is not easy for hunter or hunted. In this documentary we examine the most impressive predators across Africa's domains of air, land and sea to find out what makes them so well suited to their deadly tasks.  But there are two sides to every story and where there is an effective predator, there must also be a wily and hard-to-catch prey - the relationship between the two driving both to evolve constantly in a bid to get the upper hand. Life is challenging for all predators but they've evolved to fit into their environmental niches. In the air, on land and in the sea it's a world of the quick or the dead where the next meal is never guaranteed. Only time will tell who will prevail in the African saga of Predators versus Prey.
