The return of one adventurer and addition of another gives the group hope as their search for food becomes desperate. As the rain finally clears to reveal a blue sky, the explorers find themselves both physically and emotionally exhausted. Merchants of the Wild, Season 3, follows six Indigenous adventurers as they journey along ancient paths that were traditionally used by Indigenous traders deep in the mountains of Syilx territory in BC. They spend 25 days in the wilderness learning to reconnect with their culture, with only a handful of necessary tools and a limited food supply. During the expedition they must rely solely on the land, each other, and traditional teachings to survive.
