In Part 2 of this interview, the Honorable L. Casey Manning discusses his experience as a lawyer and judge in South Carolina. Manning, the July 2021 South Carolina African American History Calendar Honoree, from Dillon, SC, has served as a Circuit Court Judge since 1994. Prior to becoming a judge, he was an All-American high school basketball player before becoming the first African American scholarship recipient basketball player at the University of South Carolina. He went on to receive a bachelor's in Political Science and History before earning his Juris Doctorate at the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1977.
