It’s almost Cherry Blossom season in High Park, but there are other creatures we need to be looking out for at this time of year – the turtles of High Park. It’s easy to miss them, but they come out of the water in hot weather and lay eggs in the grassy areas of the park. A group called the Turtle Protectors is trying to bring awareness to the turtles and how to protect them this spring. Carolynne Crawley is co-founder of the group.
