Most literacy instruction focuses on fiction, but older elementary school and middle school children are expected to be able to read textbooks in content areas. This new series of 32-page nonfiction books, each accompanied by a four-page lesson plan, enables students in Grades 4 to 6 acquire the ability to effectively locate, evaluate, and use information as they read.
