Kiki, her father, and her friend Carlos are on their way back to Earth when their spaceship makes an unplanned stop on the planet Beta. Here they find the Alpha Galaxy Games, which are like the Olympics on Earth. Kiki joins in without knowing the danger she is in as Beta's two suns set.
