Responding to a letter from her uncle, Anna returns to Wisteria only to find that his body has been found in the trunk of a burned-out car. Her aunt seems psychotic, and, although Anna's first impulse is to leave at once, she becomes drawn into the mystery, along with her neighbor Zack.
