This publication is issued on the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe. It serves as a permanent record of the war art collection of the Canadian War Museum and features a selection of it's best works, many of which have been in storage since the end of the war. It affords an opportunity to look back at Canada's contribution to victory as war artists saw it.
