Lucy is very fond of Buttercup, a cow which her father has just bought. Lucy can't wait for Buttercup's calf to be born! But when the calf is due, a terrible storm traps Lucy's parents miles from home. And now Buttercup is in trouble. Scared and alone, Lucy knows that only she can bring the tiny calf safely into the world.
