An early example of Southern Ontario Gothic. Includes 'The killdeer', a surreal, verse play about three young people battling their pasts, and searching for family, self, and identity, with dialogue slipping frequently into the surreal, as well as 'The sun and the moon', a dark farce about a village priest who is faced with shadows from his past when a woman and her son come to town claiming to be his mistress and son.
