Set in a frighteningly realistic ravaged London in the near future, two rival gangs, the Volsons and the Connors struggle for control of the City, which is now surrounded by the halfman lands-- a desolate place populated by creatures called halfmen who were the result of genetic experiments to create living, killing machines. The story is a futuristic take on the Icelandic Volsung Saga.
