In 2003, 13-year-old Sabrina Shannon died from complications brought about by anaphylactic shock. The suspected cause of death: eating french fries served in the school cafeteria. The film follows the Shannons' journey as they struggle to deal with their daughter's death and embark on a heroic crusade to establish the groundbreaking legislation worldwide. Throughout the film, representative from the anaphylaxis community discuss this health crisis and the cases that have been increasing at an alarming rate over the past decade. Other parents of at-risk children, including, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. weigh in on their own fight to bring the legislation to their communities.
