It's bright and colorful, with lot's of illustrations, and a well-written narrative that cover some fairly sophisticated topics with an age-appropriate vocabulary -- all perfect to keep the interest of even the most bored young adult student. Part of Lerner Publications' "Saving Our Living Earth Series," students will find the introductory section on "Beyond Fossil Fuels" very helpful. The following chapters are topical, devoted to: Solar Power; Wind Power; Water Power; Earth Power; and Biofuels. These chapters are then followed by a capstone discussion titled, "Into the Future."
