Eight multicultural song-stories from around the world are collected and retold here by professional storyteller Helen East and complemented by ideas for puppetry from members of Obelon, a leading U.K. puppetry company. Each story has a fabric-related theme and is supported by music activities as well as activities for making and using simple puppets. No music reading is required, and the stories are flexible enough to be enjoyed in music, drama and language classes or developed as short performances.
