Nos Nouvelles (formerly Pleins Feux sur le Canada) is a classroom-ready current events resource for students in grades 3 to 5. es Plan, provides teachers with classroom-ready resources, in English and French, designed to promote Literacy Skills while engaging students in current Canadian and international news topics. Each issue includes specific literacy strategies, lesson plans, assignments for teachers to use with the articles and comics provided. The materials are intended to support development of skills needed for success in EQAO testing and to engage students in critical thinking while addressing curriculum expectations in numerous subject areas, including French immersion and ESL. Published for 3 different grade ranges, the resource can be accessed from from the tabs above. Your teacher-librarian can support staff in using this resource. Please ensure all teachers in your school are aware of this resource as yearly renewal will be dependent upon usage statistics during the school year.
