Although he enjoys his scary books, Herb makes sure that his mother removes them from his room in the evening, and when she forgets one night, Herb ends up meeting the frightening characters face to face. When two wolves escape one night from his fairy tale book and threaten to eat him, Herb enlists the reluctant help of Cinderella's fairy godmother.
