In Bacteria students will learn the ancient origins of these members of the Kingdom Monera and examine their unique characteristics. Discover not only the nasty effects of bacteria like staphylococcus, but also the helpful act of those bacteria known as decomposer. A Hands-on experiment demonstrates how yogurt bacteria hinder the growth of other microorganisms.
