(13 min) -- Legend of the giant beaver: The natural link to shrinking waters and beavers introduces the role of wetlands, special places (habitats) for many of the beavers' animals and insect friends. (13 min) WINTER -- Why the rabbit turned white: Wesakechak learns that every living being has a role in the harmony of nature. (13 min) -- Legend of the spirit bear: When the earth is filled with ice and snow, all the hungry animals ask the creator to bring back the seasons. Legend tells us that with the seasons, also came the "spirit," or Kermode Bear. (13 min).
