It's Chrismas Eid! When a little Muslim girl and a young Christian girl dream of celebrating each other's festivals, Christmas and Eid, they run into problems at home trying to convince their parents that it's really all about peace. Through their struggles, they create a unique symbol. The Peace Tree, a tree that highlights the symbols of all our cultures and faiths to reflect the beauty of 'diversity in unity'. The Mayor's Office in the City of Toronto is set to proclaim Peace Tree Day on June 1st, 2006. Peace Tree Day is a vibrant new festival for children and families of every culture, race and religion to celebrate peace and diversity TOGETHER!
