Charlie is a five-month-old Chimpanzee living in Tanzania's famous Gombe National Park in East Africa. He lives with his mother Clara, his father Chad and his brother Chauncey. His family are part of a wider Chimpanzee 'community' with around fifty members. Chimpanzees are the most intelligent of all non-human primates, so Charlie has a lot to learn, including complicated skills like making and using tools for cracking palm nuts or fishing for termites.
