Includes four feature segments: --Solid, liquid, and gas - reviews the three states of matter and the characteristics of water in each state --Heat and matter - explains how matter changes from one state to another and explores the role heat plays in these changes --Thermal and light energy - discusses the visible spectrum and the ways in which heat is transferred from one object to another --Forces and gravity - examines gravity and the laws of motion, including their effects on our lives.
