Fourth-grade inventor Scab McNally is in deep water (which happens to be the one thing he's terribly afraid of)! After a fishing trip to the lake with best buddies Doyle, Will, and his dog Joe, Scab is certain he's discovered a prehistoric swamp creature. Of course, no one will believe his crazy story unless he can prove it and his mother won't allow him to return to the lake until he completes a swimming lcass with his "smart times ten" twin sister Isabelle.
