During the War of 1812, American soldiers invaded Upper Canada and occupied the town of Niagara for nearly 7 months. In the cold and wintry December of 1813, they retreated. But before they left, they set ablaze nearly every building in the town, including the church and the homes of the residents. This docudrama tells the story of the burning of the town from the point of view of a survivor of the devastation. The narratives and dramatic visual effects will leave a lasting memory and understanding of the cataclysm that took place 200 years ago in what is now Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. .
