There are many types of heroes. A hero can be somebody in the past who stood up against injustice. A hero can be a modern-day activist or celebrity. An everyday hero is somebody who makes sacrifices for his or her family or community. Some heroes are celebrated for their courage and bravery. However, many heroes go unrecognized. Every person we encounter has the potential to be hero. Heroes are often ordinary people who do extraordinary things. They can inspire us to be better people. They can help us follow our dreams.
