A plague known as the Blue Death is sweeping throughout Avalon. Clancy Donovan's sister has died, and now her brother is sick too. In a desperate attempt to save him, Clancy risks everything-including her own life-and defies her Queen to enter enemy territory in search of a cure. There she meets Eric Archer whose brother is also sick.
