Over half of Canadian children in government care are Aboriginal. Because of the lasting effect of colonial policies, these children often struggle with their sense of cultural and personal identity. This affects the ability to live to their greatest potential. This video helps new parents of Aboriginal children understand what a Cultural Connection Plan is, why it's important, and how to successfully incorporate their child's culture into their home.
