It may seem as though all the beauty of the natural world has gone south but it is in the heart of winter that The Spit comes alive with an array of Arctic water fowl. Tommy Thompson Park has become the ‘Florida winter home’ for the beautiful and very vocal Buffleheads, Mergansers and the stunning Long-Tailed Ducks from the north.
