Max is tired of being a mole. He'd much rather be a monster. Not a small, funny monster. But a big, scary one. He stands on his tiptoes and roars at the top of his voice, but his brother and sister just laugh at him. Then, just when he is feeling his saddest and most lonely, Max's friends come looking for him. And he soon realises that being a mole isn't bad, after all.
