A thousand years ago, the Anchor traded his one skill--his ability to fight--for refuge in a monastary and was set to guard the gates of Hell. He was, however, tricked into falling asleep for centuries and, now that he is awake, he has a lot of catching up to do, battling all of the monsters who escaped from Hell during his slumber.
