Canada & Beyond: Our Changing Roles & Responsibilities is designed and written for educators to meet the expectations of the revised Ontario social studies curriculum. Students will learn, explore, discover, analyze, and communicate findings for a variety of topics including: various roles in their life and community, relationships between individuals, and responsibilities. They will explore how and why these roles and responsibilities may change, and how they are connected to one’s identity, culture, and sense of self. Students are introduced to the inquiry process, and will use this process when conducting their investigations.
