Canada & Beyond: Living & Working in Ontario is designed and written for educators to meet the expectations of the revised Ontario social studies curriculum. Students will learn, explore, discover, analyze, and communicate findings for a variety of topics. They will learn about the physical and municipal regions of Ontario. Students will also explore the relationship between the natural environment, employment opportunities, and land use, and begin to understand how different uses of land and resources affect the environment. Students will use the inquiry process to explore and conduct their investigations.
