Jacob Two-Two, the youngest of five children, says everything twice because no one listens to him the first time. But when he asks Mr. Cooper for two pounds of tomatoes two times, he is convicted of insulting a grown-up and exiled to Slimers' Isle - a nightmarish prison guarded by ugly creatures including the dreaded Hooded Fang.
