Exploring the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession through Anishinaabe Art is a teacher education resource designed to support inquiry into the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession. The Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession provide a framework of principles that describe the professional knowledge, skills, values and practices inherent within the lived experiences of members of the Ontario teaching profession. Educators are invited to reflect on the five standards of practice: Commitment to Students and Student Learning, Leadership in Learning Communities, Ongoing Professional Learning, Professional Knowledge and Professional Practice through the artistic representations included within this document.
