"The Competencies Toolkit is a print collection of over 70 ready-to-use lessons that nurture students' ability to think, act and communicate. These lessons teach the range of tools that students require to develop the competencies needed for 21st century learning. Most of the lessons are targeted for grades 4-10 but can be adapted to other grades and they can be embedded in any subject area. Each lesson includes detailed teaching instructions, reproducible student materials, a student guide to encourage self-regulated use of the tools and user-friendly suggestions for where to use each lesson. The online supplement to the print publication includes all the print lessons available in multiple digital formats including PDF, PowerPoint and interactive whiteboard. Access to the online supplement is free to teachers who are employed by a Tc2 Partner district or school or who are an Individual Member.
