11-year old Aung lives in Bagan, an ancient temple city in Myanmar. There are more than 2,000 temples there, some over 800 years old. Aung sells postcards to the tourists who come visit. He often wonders why the huge domes on top of these temples never collapse. He wants to know how they were made and if he can make a dome himself as well. He practices with bridges - how can you make a strong bridge with noodles? He shows the people from his village that it is possible to walk on egg shells and he learns to use triangles to build strong structures. All of this is necessary to prepare him for the final experiment: can he build a dome big enough to house his own souvenir shop?
