Using a reality TV show format, this program pits three job seekers against a tough host, his assistant, and each other, to demonstrate the role that preparation, research, applications, cover letters, resumes, and interviews have in determining the best candidate for an open position. The competition is intense as the three are put through a number of challenges -- the kind faced by any job seeker -- to win a coveted spot as an international travel guide. Job-search advice is given throughout as viewers learn from the competitors' successes and failures what it takes to get hired.
