This year, the storytelling project at Rose Avenue Junior Public School focused on personal and family stories. Over the March Break, parents of students from kindergarten to grade 6 were asked to tell their children a story about someone in their family or help their children remember a story about their own lives. These stories express the experiences of families from various cultures. They take place all over the world, including here in Toronto. They provide a mosaic of our students, their families, and their histories.
