This resource, developed by the Sikh Heritage Committee, supports secondary students and educators with learning about Sikh culture, history, and religion. The kit focuses on Sikh authors that focus on fiction, poetry and visual arts. These include stories connected to immigration, gender, inclusivity and family relationships. Please note, some resources may be better suited for educator resources as they develop their own knowledge, including some short stories and poetry within larger collections that may not be suitable for all students. Educators are reminded to always review materials and plan for learning prior to sharing resources with students.
