Meghna, a theater teacher and aspiring playwright, agrees to be the “best man” at her ex-partner Seth’s wedding, leading her to consider an arranged marriage. She meets Karthik, a grumpy engineer who’s also avoiding arranged set-ups. They agree to a fake engagement to ease their situations, but as they bond, their pretend relationship starts feeling real, stirring up insecurities and expectations.
