This is the Pan-African flag. It is a tri colored flag that represents the blood shed for freedom by all people of black African ancestry. The color black stands for the black people and culture, and green is for the wealth of Africans, nature and the motherland. The flag was created in 1920 by Marcus Garvey, a Jamaican political activist, journalist and speaker.
