Quasimodo was born one-eyed, hunchbacked and lame. He repels all who see him. His refuge becomes the Cathedral of Notre Dame. Esmeralda, the dancing gypsy girl is the only one to take pity on Quasimodo. She waits in a dungeon for fate to play its final hand. And though she is in love with one man and adored by another, it is Quasimodo who possesses the courage to save her from the gallows.
